Narasumber Mr. Lim Tit Meng (Chief Executive Science Center Singapore).
TM Lim is a biologist by training with a First Class Honours degree from the National University of Singapore and a PhD from Cambridge University, UK. He has been appointed by the Singapore Ministry of Education as the Chief Executive at the Science Centre Singapore since January 2010. He concurrently holds the position of Associate Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, NUS. He is a director in the Board of the international Association of Science & Technology Centres (ASTC) and the President of the Asia Pacific Science Centres Network (ASPAC). He is the current President of the Singapore Association for the Advancement of Science (SAAS) as well as the 1st Vice President of the Singapore National Academy of Science (SNAS). His other appointments are in the Singapore Bioethics Advisory Committee; the Singapore Technologies Endowment Programme Board; and the Singapore Millennium Foundation Board. He has been conferred Fellow of the Singapore National Academy of Science and Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Biology, both in 2014.
